The CIML Qualification Framework is a progressive and structured academic pathway designed to equip professionals with the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to excel at every stage of their management journey. It provides an internationally recognised qualification enabling practising managers and professionals to meet the challenges of the future.

The framework is built on a practical curriculum delivered via online distance learning, incorporating business simulations, case studies, and projects to accelerate learning and prepare students for leadership positions in the modern business world.

The CIML Qualification Framework comprises four progressive levels:

  • Certificate in Business Management and Leadership โ€” Foundation level qualification

5 Questions

Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is the ongoing process of learning and skills enhancement that professionals undertake throughout their career. CIML emphasises lifelong learning through structured CPD programmes to ensure members remain up-to-date with the latest trends, regulations, and best practices in management and leadership.

CIML members can accumulate CPD credits that qualify them for higher professional grades and chartered status. CPD activities demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and professional excellence โ€” key criteria for membership progression.
