Each membership grade carries specific responsibilities under the Code of Conduct, reflecting the level of professional recognition held.

Compliance & Enforcement Process

CIML maintains a formal and impartial process for addressing breaches of this Code, ensuring fairness and accountability at every stage.

Members are encouraged to report violations through CIML's formal reporting channels. Reports can be anonymous but must include factual details.

The CIML Ethics Committee investigates alleged breaches impartially and confidentially. Members may be required to provide documentation or evidence.

Sanctions range from written warnings and suspension of rights to revocation of membership designation or referral to legal authorities.

Members may appeal decisions of the Ethics Committee through a formal appeal process defined by CIML governance documentation.
