ASSOCIATE MEMBER

An applicant must meet the academic qualifications and professional experience requirements detailed below;

Academic/Professional Qualifications

Applicants must hold one of the following qualifications:

• CIML Advanced Diploma in Business Management and Leadership,
• Bachelors Degree in Management or other related area from an accredited Institution
• Associate Membership of a Recognized Professional Body

Initial applications should normally be accompanied by qualification transcript(s).

Professional Experience

Applicants will be required to show that they have Four years post graduation experience for which their Management/Leadership training is relevant, and that they have an appropriate level of professional standing.

How to Apply

Applicants must supply all information as requested on the application form, and indicate their agreement to the declaration.  This agreement constitutes a contract to abide by the rules of the Institute. Applications for Associate Member may be accepted by the Membership Manager on behalf of the Membership Committee provided the applicant clearly meets the requirements for the grade. Where it is not clear that the applicant meets the requirements the application is referred to the Institute’s Membership Committee Qualification Sub-Group.

Designatory Letters

Members may use the letters ACIML after their name.

Further Information

Associate Membership allows individuals to participate in the Institute’s activities whilst gaining the experience required for Full Membership Associate Members would normally be expected to apply for transfer to another grade after not more than Five years in the Associate Member grade.
